Seven more mission presidents and their wives have been called by the
First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Assignments were
announced in the March 4 issue of Church News. The new leaders are:
Deanna D. and Douglas M. Andrus
Douglas Milo Andrus, 64, Nevada Las
Vegas West Mission; Pioneer Ward, Idaho Falls Idaho Eagle Rock Stake; stake
president; former counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in a stake
Young Men presidency, counselor in a bishopric, stake mission president,
ward Young Men president and missionary in the Eastern States Mission.
Owner, Doug Andrus Distributing. Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Douglas
Milo and Veatrice M. Nelson Andrus. Married

A Sunday School teacher, Sister Andrus is a former ward Relief Society
president; ward Primary teacher, pianist and chorister; ward organist and
ward Young Women adviser. Born in Shelley, Idaho, to Arvil Edwin and Nola
Thompson Daw.
Steven D. and Marjorie H. Bennion
Steven Don Bennion, 64, New York New

councilor; former regional representative, counselor in stake presidencies,
bishop and counselor, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the
Scottish Mission. President, Southern Utah University. Born in Salt Lake
City, Utah, to Lowell Lindsay and Lela Merle Colton Bennion. Married
