Education: Bachelor's degree in English, minor in Spanish from BYU (1977); chartered life underwriter (1984) and chartered financial consultant (1999) from American College.
Church service: Area Seventy; former president of Spain Barcelona Mission (2000-2003), stake president, high councilor, bishop, high priests group instructor, gospel doctrine teacher, Varsity Scout coach; missionary in Chile Santiago Mission (1973-1975).
