Family: Born Dec. 30, 1948, in Mesa, Ariz., to Wilford Pratt and Vilate Allen Cardon. Married Deborah Dana on Nov. 25, 1970, in the Mesa Arizona Temple; children (spouse names in parentheses): Patricia Burton (Thomas), Melissa Petersen (Aaron), Craig Dana (Aimee), Andrew Dana (Ann), Andrea Andersen (Nathan), Louise LeSueur (Daniel), Paul Dana (Raeanna), Russell.

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University, 1973; master of public administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard in Cambridge, Mass., 2002.

Employment: Co-owner of family business he helped develop, principally involved in real estate.
