The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will perform the annual Pioneer Day Commemorative Concert on Friday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center.
The choir and orchestra will be joined by the Brett Family Singers, a performing group based in Branson, Mo., in this celebration of the pioneer spirit both past and present. Craig Jessop, music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and associate director Mack Wilberg will conduct.
The concert is open to the public. Free tickets are required for the concert and will become available only on the Internet (www.lds.org/events) and by phone at 801-570-0080 or toll-free at 1-866-537-8457 (1-866-LDS-TIKS) on Tuesday, June 27 at 10 a.m. MDT. No tickets will be given at out at the Conference Center ticket office. Seating is limited to persons 8 years and older.
