ANAHEIM, Calif. — Kelsey Willden, Brookhurst Ward, Centerville Utah North Stake, became the bronze medalist (junior division) at the 2006 U.S. National Collegiate Figure Skating Championships in Anaheim, Calif., on Aug. 4.

More than 60 competitors from colleges and universities across the country skated qualifying, short and freeskate (long) programs over three days. Kelsey, a freshman at Utah's Weber State University last year, placed second in the long program and took third place overall in her division to win the bronze.

She is the daughter of Gary and Joan Willden of Centerville, Utah.
