Yolanda and Victor Cerda
Victor Manuel Cerda Vital, 68, Las Huertas Ward, Colonia Dublan Mexico Stake; called as president of the Hermosillo Sonora Mexico Temple, succeeding President Albert M. Farnsworth. President Cerda's wife, Yolanda Ramon de Cerda, will serve as temple matron. President Cerda has served as stake president and stake president's counselor, high councilor and Mexico Torreon Mission president. He is a retired seminary director and CES coordinator. He was born in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico, to Manuel Cerda Melgar and Maria de Lourdes Vital de Cerda.

Sister Cerda, who served with her husband when he was mission president, was a ward Primary and Young Women president, Sunday School and Relief Society teacher, and ward music director. She was born in Mexico Distrito Federal, to Francisco Ramon Rodriguez and Fany Villegas Santos.
