Women 18 years old and older are invited to attend the General Relief Society Meeting, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. (MDT). The meeting will be broadcast live via Church satellite from Conference Center to meetinghouses in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, as well as Mexico, Central and South America, and Asia and the Pacific. (Please see Aug. 19, 2006, Church News, for broadcast information.)
The theme is "Encircled in the Arms of His Love," from 2 Nephi 1:15.
Relief Society general presidency hopes women throughout the Church will meet together to view or listen to the general meeting, where possible. They also hope women use the talks printed in the Ensign or watch portions of the recordings during some first Sunday Relief Society lessons.
