History: Groundbreaking Aug. 22, 2004, with President Gordon B. Hinckley presiding. Open house held July 29, 2006, to Aug. 26, 2006, excluding Sundays; total attendance 168,367. Dedicated in four sessions Sept. 3 by President Gordon B. Hinckley; dedication attendance, 27,396.
