....my beloved brethren have miracles ceased? Behold I say unto you, nay; neither have angels ceased to minister unto the children of men." — Moroni 7:29

As my husband and I were attending the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah, in preparation to serve overseas as senior couple missionaries, an apostolic blessing was given to us that our families would be watched over and blessed while we were apart.

A few months later our single college student son underwent an emergency surgery; the prayers of friends and family fasting were felt and united us through the bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood in the atoning gift of our Savior. His sister and her two little children traveled from out of state to be of assistance to his recovery since no family members live in the area.

As I tearfully read Moroni 7:29 in search of strength to my faith and testimony of promised blessings to our loved ones while serving in His kingdom, this scripture touched my soul. I received the comfort to leave matters in our Savior's hands; the peace I felt and the increased faith I obtained will be always remembered. A few days later we found ourselves sitting in the waiting room of a hospital here in our mission as one of our missionaries was undergoing a surgical treatment, again this scripture came to mind and reflected in the feelings of this dear elder's mother that she, too, may feel and testify of Moroni's promise, "Neither have angels ceased to minister unto the children of God." — Sister Rocio T.
