Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First
Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Assignments will be
announced later.
Leonard M. and Evelyn Abraham
Leonard McCall Abraham, 58, St. George
1st Ward, St. George Utah Stake; missionary in the Ukraine Donetsk Mission;
former stake president and counselor, bishop, ward Young Men president and
adviser, ward mission leader and missionary in the Argentina Mission.
President and founder of Industrial Technical Education Systems and retired
teacher. Born in Fillmore, Utah, to Myron Dale and Marjorie Jean McCall

A missionary in the Ukraine Donetsk Mission, Sister Abraham is a former
counselor in ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary presidencies,
ward missionary and ward Relief Society enrichment leader. Born in St.

Robert T. and Rebecca Cox
Robert Thomas Cox, 54, Tulare 2nd
Ward, Porterville California Stake; ward mission leader and temple
ordinance worker; former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, branch
president, stake executive secretary and missionary in the Andes Peru
Mission. Owner of Cox Farming. Born in Tulare, Calif., to Howard Marion and

former counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, ward Young Women

Ralph Lynn Dewsnup, 58, Stratford
Ward, Salt Lake Highland Stake; counselor in the Utah Salt Lake City
Mission presidency and gospel doctrine teacher; former stake president,
bishop, high councilor, missionary preparation teacher and missionary in
the Central American Mission. Attorney, Dewsnup, King & Olsen. Born in Salt
Lake City, Utah, to Edwin Grant and Mary Jeannette Fairbanks Dewsnup.

Marion Royal Johnstun, 53, Rexburg
16th Ward, Rexburg Idaho East Stake; ward Sunday School teacher; former
stake president, bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster and missionary in the
Mexico Southeast Mission. Professor, teacher education, BYU-Idaho. Born in
St. Helens, Ore., to Owen Royal and Mary Elisabeth Poorman Johnstun.

Robin Otho Roundy, 53, Ithaca Ward,

Tate is a former stake Relief Society president and counselor, ward Relief
