Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Assignments will be announced later.

Stephen J. and Shauna Allen
Stephen James Allen, 59, Wahluke 1st Ward, Othello Washington Stake; missionary in the Russia Moscow Mission; former counselor in a stake presidency, counselor in the Washington Spokane Mission presidency, bishop, high councilor and missionary in the West Spanish American Mission. Business owner and farmer. Born in Sunnyside, Wash., to Darley J and Helen Marie Parsons Allen. Married Shauna Walker, five children.

A missionary in the Russia Moscow Mission, Sister Allen is a former stake Young Women president and counselor, ward Relief Society president and counselor, Relief Society teacher and ward Young Women adviser. Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to George Campbell and Marie Hart Walker.

Renata and Paulo M. Araujo
Paulo Messias de Araujo, 39, Vitoria Ward, Vitoria Brazil Stake; former bishop and counselor, high councilor, elders quorum president, high priests group leader, ward Young men president and missionary in the Brazil Rio de Janeiro Mission. Employment resource services manager of field operations for the Church. Born in Campinas, Brazil, to Olicio Moreira de Araujo and Elvira Ferreira de Araujo. Married Renata Carlas A. Moraes, three children.

A stake Primary president, Sister Araujo is a former ward Relief Society president and counselor, stake Young Women counselor, ward Young Women president and counselor, Sunday School teacher and stake family history center director. Born in Vitoria, Brazil, to Ezequiel Rodrigues Moraes and Oreny Azevedo Moraes.

Susan T. and John C. Darrington
John Charles Darrington, 60, Hillview Ward, Kennewick Washington Stake; former stake president, counselor in a bishopric, high councilor, stake Young Men president, ward mission leader, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the North Central States Mission. City manager, Richland, Wash. Born in Burley, Idaho, to John Harry and Gladys Tennant Darrington. Married Susan Gayle Turner, seven children.

A stake music chairman, Sister Darrington is a former ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president, seminary teacher, gospel doctrine teacher and ward choir director. Born in Burley, Idaho, to Bruce Bigler and Lila Harris Turner.

Carl R. and Karen L. Maurer
Carl Ross Maurer, 47, Capalaba Ward, Brisbane Australia Stake; ward Young Men president; former stake president and counselor, bishop and counselor, high councilor and missionary in the Australia Perth Mission. Manager and business owner. Born in Brisbane, Australia, to Arthur Edward and Janice Beth Campbell Maurer. Married Karen Lee Jeffrey, six children.

A Relief Society compassionate service leader, Sister Maurer is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in stake, district and ward Relief Society presidencies, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency and ward Primary president. Born in Townsville, Australia, to John Douglas and Lois Gay Tucker Jeffrey.

A gospel doctrine teacher and temple ordinance worker, Sister Nichols is a former ward Relief Society and Young Women president, seminary teacher, gospel doctrine teacher and Primary teacher. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Odie Ray Malott Sr. and Dorothy Louise Day Malott.

Stephen L Olsen, 54, Willow Creek 7th Ward, Sandy Utah Willow Creek Stake; missionary in the Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission; former bishop, counselor in a stake presidency, stake mission president, Primary teacher, Aaronic priesthood adviser and missionary in the Chile Mission. Partner in real estate development. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Ivan Peter and Glenna Marilou Rogers Olsen. Married Barbara Fisher, five children.
