SARATOGA, Calif. — Members of the Saratoga California Stake joined with congregations from several other churches March 17 in Saratoga and neighboring Los Gatos for the stake's humanitarian service day in which 9,990 hygiene kits were assembled for victims of natural disasters. The kits were assembled from 18,500 pounds in two sessions.

"We were delighted by the member participation from the local interfaith community associations who contributed funds and time to work shoulder to shoulder with our members in this humanitarian effort for God's children wherever the need is the greatest," said John Hodgman, president of the Saratoga California Stake. "Our neighbors and friends truly saw the gospel in action today."
