Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1.

Kathryn and Kent W. Colton
Kent Winterton Colton, 63, Florida Tampa Mission; McLean 2nd Ward, McLean Virginia Stake; temple ordinance worker and Aaronic Priesthood adviser; former stake president, bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster, stake Young Men president and missionary in the Australian Mission. Former chief executive officer, National Association of Home Builders. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ray Charles and Zelma Elizabeth Winterton Colton. Married Kathryn Patrice Petersen, five children.

A ward Relief Society president, Sister Colton is a former ward Primary president, seminary teacher, Sunday School teacher and member of the Cultural Arts Committee of the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors Center. Born in Logan, Utah, to Leland Wallace and Thelma Liljenquist Petersen.

Marilyn and James R. Gee
James Ricks Gee, 62, Oklahoma Oklahoma City Mission; Sugar City 4th Ward, Sugar City Idaho Stake; Sunday School teacher; former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Gulf States Mission. Former Student Life Vice President, Brigham Young University-Idaho. Born in Rexburg, Idaho, to Clendon Edgar and Erma Lanette Ricks Gee. Married Marilyn Shirley, six children.

A gospel doctrine teacher and stake music chairman, Sister Gee is a former counselor in stake Relief Society and Young Women presidencies, ward Relief Society and Young Women president and Young Women adviser. Born in Rigby, Idaho, to Gordon Lyle and Verna Browning Shirley.

Mary Lee and William S. Johns
William Scott Johns, 50, Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission; El Paso 4th Ward, El Paso Texas Stake; counselor in bishopric; former stake president and counselor, bishop, institute teacher, high councilor and missionary in the Ecuador Quito Mission. Partner, Lauterbach, Borschow & Co. Born in El Paso, Texas, to Paul Carey and Dorothy Loane (Laine) Watkins Johns. Married Mary Lee Christensen, six children.

A stake and ward choir director and seminary teacher, Sister Johns is a former stake Relief Society and Primary president, assistant stake family history center director, ward Primary music leader and missionary in the Ecuador Quito Mission. Born in Monticello, Utah, to Hyrum (Buckley) J. and Clyda Barton Christensen.

Esperanza L. and Manuel Madrigal
Manuel Madrigal, 53, Panama Panama City Mission; Coacalco Ward, Mexico City Ecatepec Stake; bishop; former stake president and counselor, stake executive secretary and temple ordinance worker. Research professor, Instituto Politecnico Nacional. Born in Minatitlan, Veracruz, Mexico, to Manuel Antonio and Maria Presentacion Romero Alejandro de Madrigal Cancino. Married Esperanza Laguna Mancilla, three children.

A counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency and a Sunday School teacher, Sister Madrigal is a former stake Young Women president, ward Primary president, counselor in ward Relief Society and Young Women presidencies and seminary teacher. Born in Arriaga, Chiapas, Mexico, to Anibal and Crispina Mancilla Sanchez de Laguna Perez.

Daniel and Maria Dolores Iglesias Mendoza
Daniel Mendoza, 49, Mexico Monterrey East Mission; Juarez Ward, Torreon Mexico Reforma Stake; bishop; former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, stake Young Men president, high priests group leader and missionary in the Mexico Veracruz Mission. Maria and Ismael Mendoza

Married Maria del Socorro Delgado, five children.

Gladys and Joseph W. Sitati
Joseph Wafula Sitati, 54, Nigeria Uyo Mission; Westlands Ward, Nairobi Kenya Stake; Area Seventy; former stake president, counselor in the Kenya Nairobi Mission presidency, district president, and branch president and counselor. International director for Public Affairs for Africa for the Church. Born in Bungoma, Kenya, to Nathan Barasa Sitati and Lenah Naliaka Mwasame. Married Gladys Nangoni Nassiuma, five children.
