May 5 International Children's Choir, directed by Kathy Sorensen, will perform religious anthems, familiar favorites and international folk songs in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801) 240-33-23.
May 6 CES Fireside for Young Adults, ages 18 through 30, married and single, which will originate from the Tabernacle on Temple Square, will be transmitted live over the Church satellite system on Sunday, May 6, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. (MDT). The speaker will be President James E. Faust of the First Presidency.
May 11 and 12 Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square with international opera star Bryn Terfel will perform Felix Mendelsohn's "Elijah" in the Tabernacle at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold out; standby seating will be available (www.lds.org/events).
May 12 Family History Library: Free Series on Canadian Research. Classes will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Family History Library located to the west of Temple Square.
