Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee.... — Psalm 55:22

Oh, how thrilled I was to attend Felix Mendelssohn's "Elijah," especially because of a recent unusual experience I had. I was asked to teach a Sunday School lesson about Elijah at a care center. I was told that the understanding capacity of most of the patients was very limited and warned that there might be some patients who would wander about the room causing disruptions. With mounting fear from wondering how to handle these situations I prayed to the Lord to inspire me to teach in a way that would enlighten the minds of the patients to be able to realize the importance of Elijah's mission in their lives.

To capture their attention, when I began, I held up a large cutout of a sun with a smiling face and told them the message I had for them would make them very happy. A little old lady on the front row quickly reached for the sun and said, "I want it." I gave it to her and, as she hugged it, I replied "You may keep it," and she quietly sat down.

During the lesson I told them how much the Lord loved Elijah by selecting him to restore the keys to Joseph Smith that enable us to go to the temple and bind us together in marriage and as families on earth as well as in Heaven. I could see the comprehension and wonderment in their faces. Most of all I could feel the Spirit of the Lord with us from their rapt attention.

During the concert I knew that Elijah's promise of the answer to his prayer was being fulfilled with the experience I had, and my tears overflowed when the quartet representing the angels sang from (several scriptures), including Psalm 55:22. — Helen Chandler, Midvale, Utah
