July 18 — Garden Talks in the Park — English Cottage Gardens, with expert horticulturist Karen Robison, at 8 p.m., Brigham Young Historic Park. Free admission (801) 240-5916.

July 20 — Pioneer Day Commemoration Concert, presented by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square in the Conference Center auditorium at 7:30 p.m. with broadcast over the Church satellite system with subsequent rebroadcasts.
