COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Members of the Colorado Springs Colorado North Stake volunteered for some 600 shifts to help during the State Games of America held here Aug. 2-5. The volunteers worked during opening ceremonies, helped check in athletes, worked at information booths and helped with crowd control and traffic direction during the Games, which offer medal winners from 49 State Games the chance to compete against each other in events similar to those of the Olympic Games.
