Aug. 25 — Celtic Harpistry, a Celtic harp ensemble, directed by Cynthia Lynn Douglass, will perform traditional Scottish and Irish music in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801) 240-33-23.

Aug. 29 — Garden Talks in the Park: Fruits and Vegetables, selecting the best fruits and vegetables for your gardens. One-hour presentation by expert horticulturist Larry Sagers at 7:30 p.m., Brigham Young Historic Park. Free admission (801) 240-5916.

Sep. 1 — Benjamin Chan, violin; and Jonathan Chan, piano; will present original hymn arrangements, Wieniawski's "Polonaise brillante, " and "Meditation" from Massenet's Thais, in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Free admission (801) 240-33-23.

Ongoing — Temple Square North and South Visitors' Centers: exhibits focusing on the life of Jesus Christ, ancient and modern prophets, the construction of the Salt Lake Temple, and the importance of families. Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
