The following have been called to serve as temple presidents and matrons. They will begin their service about Nov. 1. They have been called to a three-year term of service.

A list of all temple presidents and their respective assignments was published in the Church News on Aug. 11, 2007.

Gerald K. and Carol S. Archibald
Gerald Kent Archibald, 66, Shoreview Ward, St. Paul Minnesota Stake; St. Paul Minnesota Temple, succeeding President Thomas Albert Holt. President Archibald's wife, Carol Smith Archibald, will serve as temple matron. A counselor in the St. Paul Minnesota Temple presidency, he is a former stake president, stake clerk, high councilor, bishop, bishop's counselor and elders quorum president. Retired president of Raymedica, he was born in Cardston, Alberta, to Virden Gregson and Helen Mary Sillito Archibald.

Sister Archibald, an assistant to the matron of the St. Paul Minnesota Temple, has served as a temple ordinance worker, stake Young Women president, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society president, and counselor in a ward Young Women presidency. Born in Cardston, Alberta, to Thaine Clarence and Dorothy Hacking Smith.

Nancy K. and Edward E. Hanson
Edward Eugene Hanson, 60, Central Point 2nd Ward, Central Point Oregon Stake; Medford Oregon Temple, succeeding President Gene B Welling. President Hanson's wife, Nancy Kathryn Hill Hanson, will serve as temple matron. He has served in the Oregon Eugene Mission as a president's counselor and they served as senior couple missionaries, and as stake president and counselor, high councilor, bishop, and bishop's counselor. Retired executive manager of the Oregon State Police, he was born in Nampa, Idaho, to Carl Ervin and Ada Jeanne Home Hanson.

Sister Hanson has served as a senior couple missionary, stake Young Women president and counselor, and ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president. Born in Caldwell Canyon, Idaho, to Stanley Lee and Dorothy Louise Westerman Hill.

Galen L. and Anita D. Skeem
Galen Lester Skeem, 68, Adna Ward, Centralia Washington Stake; Seattle Washington Temple, succeeding President Denzel Nolan Wiser. President Skeem's wife, Anita Duane Dilworth Skeem, will serve as temple matron. A counselor in the Seattle Washington Temple presidency, he is a former temple sealer, temple ordinance worker, stake president and counselor, high councilor, bishop, and bishop's counselor. A retired pilot for Delta Airlines, he was born in Buhl, Idaho, to Marcus Bishop and Leora Wood Skeem.

Sister Skeem, an assistant to the matron of the Seattle Washington Temple, has served as a temple ordinance worker, counselor in stake Relief Society and Primary presidencies, ward Young Women and Primary president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, and Relief Society teacher. Born in Gooding, Idaho, to Asael Ernest and Fawn Nebeker Dilworth.

Claire S. and Kenneth M. Stainback
Kenneth Max Stainback, 67, Apex Ward, Apex North Carolina Stake; Raleigh North Carolina Temple, succeeding President Grady Lynn Barnes. President Stainback's wife, Claire Sue Holloway Stainback, will serve as temple matron. A counselor in the Raleigh North Carolina Temple presidency, he has served as a temple sealer, temple ordinance worker, stake president and counselor, high councilor, bishop and counselor. A retired manager for E. I. DuPont, he was born in Burlington, N.C., to William Talmage Banks and Sudie Compton Smith Stainback.

Sister Stainback, an assistant to the matron of the Raleigh North Carolina Temple, is a former temple ordinance worker, ward Relief Society president and counselor, ward Young Women president, counselor in a ward Primary presidency, and ward Sunday School teacher. Born in Raleigh, N.C., to Battle Alex and Vivian Burt Welch Holloway.

Horacio A. and Maria Teresa Tenorio
Horacio Antonio Tenorio Oriza, 72, Alamedas Ward, Mexico City Valle Dorado Stake; Monterrey Mexico Temple, succeeding President Jesus Santos Montes. President Tenorio's wife, Maria Teresa Torre Humaran de Tenorio, will serve as temple matron. A sealer in the Mexico City Mexico Temple, he has served in the Second Quorum of the Seventy, as regional representative, Mexico Torreon Mission president, stake president and counselor, patriarch, bishop, bishop's counselor and branch president. A retired purchasing director, he was born in Mexico D.F., Mexico, to Leopoldo Horacio Tenorio Dominguez and Blanca Otilia Oriza Arenas de Tenorio.

Sister Tenorio, a gospel doctrine teacher, served with her husband as he presided over a mission. She is a former ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president, and Relief Society teacher. Born in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, to Jose Ines de la Torre Jimenez and Maria Rita Humaran Lopez de la Torre.

Zina C. and Garth L. Tingey
Garth Leroy Tingey, 75, Hillview Ward, Kennewick Washington Stake; Columbia River Washington Temple, succeeding President Earl J Wheelwright. President Tingey's wife, Zina Colleen Metcalf Tingey, will serve as temple matron. A counselor in the Columbia River Washington Temple presidency, he has served as a temple ordinance worker, stake president's counselor, bishop, bishop's counselor, branch president, and ward Young Men president. He and his wife served in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission. A retired science consultant and chemist for Batelle Northeast Laboratory, he was born in Woodruff, Utah, to Leroy Dermott and Cynthia Lynetta Moss Tingey.

Sister Tingey, an assistant to the matron of the Columbia River Washington Temple, is a former temple ordinance worker, senior couple missionary, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, and ward Relief Society president. Born in Springville, Utah, to Maurice Sanford and Zina Robertson Metcalf.
