The First Presidency has called five new Missionary Training Center
presidents with their wives. They will begin service about Jan. 1, 2008.
Judith L. and Hoyt W. Brewster
Hoyt William Brewster Jr., 69, New
Zealand Missionary Training Center; Brighton 10th Ward, Salt Lake Brighton
Stake; stake president; former president of the Netherlands Amsterdam
Mission, member of the Church Correlation Committee, counselor in a stake
presidency, bishop and missionary in the Netherlands-Belgium Mission.
Retired as manager in the Church Temple Department. Born in Salt Lake City,
Utah, to Hoyt William and Naomi Smith Brewster. Married
Judith Louise Thiede, five children.
A counselor in the ward Primary presidency, Sister Brewster served with
her husband in the Netherlands Amsterdam Mission and is a former ward
Relief Society and Primary president, counselor in a ward Young Women
presidency and teacher in Relief Society and Sunday School. Born in Salt
Lake City, Utah, to Robert D. and Mildred Allen Thiede.
Deena B. and David A. Christensen
David Alan Christensen, 57, Guatemala
Missionary Training Center; Mill Hollow 3rd Ward, Rexburg Idaho North
Stake; stake president; former president of the Chile Santiago North
Mission, ward Young Men president, bishop and counselor, high councilor and
missionary in the Mexican Mission. Professor at Brigham Young
University-Idaho. Born in Farmington, N.M., to Vaughn L. and Irene Cardon
Christensen. Married

An activities committee chairman, Sister Christensen is a former ward
Relief Society and Primary president, Relief Society and Primary teacher
and seminary teacher. Born in Farmington, N.M., to William Dale and
Adelaide Call Bond.
David W. and Laurel F. Ferrel
David Warne Ferrel, 67, Chile
Missionary Training Center; Quince Orchard Ward, Seneca Maryland Stake;
temple ordinance worker; former Area Seventy, president of the Ecuador
Quito Mission, stake president and counselor, bishop and missionary in the
Uruguay Montevideo Mission. Retired executive. Born in Modesto, Calif., to
Rex Warne and June Norton Ferrel. Married

Jennette Fisher, six children.
A temple ordinance worker and stake Relief Society president, Sister
Ferrel served with her husband in the Ecuador Quito Mission and is a former
member of the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors Center cultural arts
committee, seminary and institute teacher and ward Relief Society
president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alma Stoker and Elva Dorothy
Hulterstrom Fisher.
Denise A. and James A. McArthur
James Andrew McArthur, 63, Japan
Missionary Training Center; St. George 8th Ward, St. George Utah Stake;
counselor in the stake presidency; former president of the Japan Fukuoka
Mission, bishop, high councilor, Varsity Scout Coach and missionary in the
Northern Far East Mission. Owner of McArthur's Temple View RV Resort. Born
in St. George, Utah, to Andrew and Merle Wallace McArthur. Married

Gordon Thomas Wilson, 61, Argentina

served with her husband in the Bolivia La Paz Mission and is a former
seminary and institute teacher, stake missionary and ward Relief Society,
