The First Presidency has called six new Missionary Training Center
presidents with their wives. They will begin service about Jan. 1, 2008.
Judith M. and Richard B. Cannon
Richard Bowman Cannon, 66, South
Africa Missionary Training Center; Parleys 6th Ward, Salt Lake Parleys
Stake; stake missionary preparation teacher; former president of the
Maryland Baltimore Mission, bishop, Young Men president, high priests group
leader and missionary in the Central German Mission. Retired
Endocrinologist. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Thomas Quentin and
Katherine Bowman Cannon. Married

Sloan, three children.
A counselor in the stake Young Women presidency, Sister Cannon served
with her husband in the Maryland Baltimore Mission and is a former Relief
Society and Young Women president, achievement day leader, counselor in
Young Women and Relief Society presidencies and Young Women adviser. Born
in Billings, Mont., to Carl Stanley and Anna Grace Anderson Sloan.
Jeanne G. and Joseph H. Groberg
Joseph Holbrook Groberg, 64, Peru
Missionary Training Center; Woodruff 1st Ward, Idaho Falls Idaho Ammon West
Stake; Aaronic priesthood adviser and temple ordinance worker; former
president of the
Peru Lima South Mission, bishop, high priest group leader,
high councilor and missionary in the Andes Mission. City councilman for the
City of Idaho Falls and retired attorney. Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to
Delbert Valentine and Jennie Holbrook Groberg. Married

A ward Primary teacher and chorister and temple ordinance worker, Sister
Groberg served with her husband in the Peru Lima South Mission and is a
former ward Young Women president, counselor in a ward Relief Society
presidency, ward Young Women adviser and activities committee chairman.

bishop, counselor in a stake presidency and missionary in the French
Mission. Retired urologist. Born in Oakland, Calif., to Kent Midgley and
