ANAHEIM, CALIF.

Some 80 missionaries from the California Anaheim Mission, led by President Randall Harmsen, helped in the Thanksgiving Day serving of 10,000 free turkey dinners in the parking lot of Anaheim's Honda Center, a sports and entertainment facility. This was the 23rd annual free Thanksgiving dinner for the needy sponsored by Anaheim restaurateur Frank Garcia and his wife, Sylvia.

The Garcias were honored in 2006 during a stake banquet sponsored by the Anaheim California Stake for their "good neighbor" deeds in the community.
