Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First
Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Their mission assignments
will be announced later.
Millie and Alan C. Batt
Alan Charles Batt, 55, Grant 2nd Ward,
Menan Idaho Stake; stake president; former bishop, counselor in a stake
mission presidency, high councilor, stake Young Men president and
missionary in the Brazil South Central Mission. President, Batt

A ward Young Women adviser, Sister Batt is a former ward Relief Society,
Young Women and Primary president. Born in Rexburg, Idaho, to Rex Lyle and
Fern Spaulding Furness.
Margaret and Lee L. Donaldson
Lee Leonard Donaldson, 55, Cedar Hills
10th Ward, Cedar Hills Utah West Stake; branch president at the Provo
Missionary Training Center; former counselor in the Illinois Chicago North
Mission presidency, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor
and missionary in the Andes Peru Mission. Director of Leadership
Development, Corporation of the President. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to
Wallace Vincent and Gwendolyn Gardner Donaldson. Married
Margaret Lisa Ralphs, five children.
An achievement day leader, Sister Donaldson is a former humanitarian
coordinator, ward Young Women and Primary president, seminary teacher and
stake Primary president. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ross Raymond and
Lesa Agnes May Ralphs.
Christine and Mark D. Howell
Mark Douglas Howell, 55, Draper 6th
Ward, Sandy Utah Hidden Valley Stake; regional welfare specialist; former
bishop, high councilor, stake Young Men president, stake missionary and
missionary in the Gulf States Mission. Executive vice president division
manager, Wells Fargo/First Security Bank. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to
Floyd K and Helen Jean Wayman Howell. Married
Christine Ingleby, eight children.
A ward Relief Society teacher, Sister Howell is a former counselor in a
stake Young Women presidency, ward Young Women president, stake cultural
arts specialist, ward Young Women adviser and missionary in the Austria
Vienna Mission. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James Curtis and Elizabeth
Ruth Wegener Ingleby.
