Family: Born May 20, 1963, in Bordeaux, France, to Jean and Marie Blanche Bonnet Causse. Married Valerie Badin in the Bern Switzerland Temple on Aug. 5, 1986. Parents of five children: Valentine, Emilie, Adrien, Pauline and Noemie.

Education: Earned equivalent of a Master's in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School with an emphasis in finance and marketing.

Employment: General manager for Pomona, France's largest food distributor.

Military Service: Conscripted service from 1985-86; served in NATO as a driver for a U.S. general.

Church service: Area Seventy in Europe West Area; president of the Paris France Stake; counselor in stake presidency; high priest group leader.
