Five new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1.

Gayla and Michael L. Dowdle
Michael Lee Dowdle, 52, Micronesia Guam Mission; Valley View 4th Ward, Salt Lake Valley View Stake; stake Young Men president; former bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster, stake and ward Young Men president and missionary in the Switzerland Geneva Mission. Attorney and chief executive officer of Non-Stop Music. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Donald Lagrande and Devona May Moss Dowdle. Married Gayla Caldwell, four children.

A ward Young Women camp director, Sister Dowdle is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, Primary music leader and Young Single Adult coordinator. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Philip Ralph and Donna Dickerson Caldwell.

Gloria N. and Dario Lorenzana
Ramon Dario Lorenzana, 41, Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission; Porvenir Ward, Choluteca Honduras Stake; counselor in the stake presidency; former stake president and counselor, counselor in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission presidency, high councilor and missionary in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission. Country Project Manager — Cause of Hope. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, to Jose Dario Lorenzana Munguia and Lesvia Socorro Reyes de Lorenzana. Married Gloria Nelly Delgado Villafranca, two children.

A ward Relief Society president, Sister Lorenzana is a former ward Young Women and Primary president, seminary teacher and missionary in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission. Born in Minas de Oro, Comayagua, Honduras, to Gustavo Rigoberto Delgado Castro and Isabel Margarita Villafranca de Delgado.

A. Moroni and Claudia Perez
Alex Moroni Perez, 38, El Salvador San Salvador East Mission; El Baul Ward, Quetzaltenango Guatemala El Bosque Stake; former stake president and counselor, high councilor and missionary in the Guatemala Guatemala City North Mission. Administrative manager, Deseret S.A.. Born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to Eriberto Israel Perez Citalan and Pilar Ulin Lopez de Perez. Married Claudia Lorena Dardon Carrillo, four children.

A counselor in the ward Primary presidency, Sister Perez is a former ward Primary president, ward Relief Society teacher, ward Young Women adviser and ward Sunday School teacher. Born in Retalhuleu, Guatemala, to Israel Dardon Escobar and Dora Felina Carrillo Dardon.

Oscar A. and Stephanie I. Pike
Oscar Arthur Pike, 50, California Arcadia Mission; Grandview 3rd Ward, Provo Utah Grandview East Stake; ward language missionary and branch Young Men president; former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, Scoutmaster, ward mission leader and missionary in the El Salvador San Salvador Mission. Professor of food science, Brigham Young University. Born in Boise, Idaho, to Frank Jensen and DarThel Bybee Pike. Married Stephanie Irene Richards, eight children.

An achievement day leader, Sister Pike is a former stake Primary president and counselor, ward Primary president, ward Young Women president, counselor, adviser and camp director and gospel doctrine teacher. Born in Portland, Ore., to Richard Merrill and Mary Elizabeth Gurnsey Richards.

Jorge M. and Ana Maria Villalba
Jorge Marcial Villalba, 56, Argentina Rosario Mission; Herrera Ward, Fernando de la Mora Paraguay Stake; counselor in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission presidency; former stake president, bishop and counselor, area public affairs director, counselor in a branch presidency and missionary in the Argentina South Mission. General manager, Forever Living Products. Born in Asuncion, Paraguay, to Juan Manuel and Gregoria Velazquez Villalba. Married Ana Maria Torrelio, four children.

A ward Young Women president, Sister Villalba assists her husband in his calling in the mission presidency and is a former branch Primary president, branch Relief Society president and missionary in the Bolivia La Paz Mission. Born in Beni, Bolivia, to Augusto and Susana Rocabado Torrelio.
