Four new temple presidents have been called by the First Presidency, with their wives called as matrons. They will begin service soon.

E. Dale Cluff, 71, Lubbock 2nd Ward, Lubbock Texas Stake, called as president of the Lubbock Texas Temple, succeeding President T. Scott Hendricks. President Cluff's wife, Elizabeth Millet Cluff, will serve as temple matron. President Cluff, currently serving as a stake patriarch and temple sealer, previously served as a counselor in the Lubbock Texas Temple presidency, mission president's counselor, stake president's counselor, stake mission president and bishop. Retired Texas Tech University dean of libraries, he was born in El Segundo, Calif., to Lavon Harvey and Melvina Flinders Cluff.

Sister Cluff, currently serving as a temple ordinance worker, previously served as an assistant to the matron of the Lubbock Texas Temple, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, ward Relief Society president, counselor in a branch Relief Society presidency and as a counselor in a stake Young Women presidency. She was born in Mesa, Ariz., to Alma Wesley and Eliza May Webb Millet.

Elder Robert R. Steuer, 64, Pleasant View 6th Ward, Pleasant View Utah Stake, called as president of the Ogden Utah Temple, succeeding President Gordon T. Watts. President Steuer's wife, Margaret Black Steuer, will serve as temple matron. President Steuer, currently a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy, previously served as president of the Brazil Sao Paulo North Mission, stake mission president, high councilor and bishop. Former chairman and CEO of a medical device company, he was born in Milwaukee, Wisc., to Fritz and Hulda Hanel Steuer.

Sister Steuer, served with her husband as he presided over the Brazil Sao Paulo North Mission, and has also served as a ward Young Women president, counselor in a stake and ward Relief Society presidency, ward Primary presidency and seminary teacher. She was born in Santa Maria, Calif., to Kimball C. and Caroline Nielson Black.

Larry Grant Stoddard, 68, Bringhurst Ward, Pocatello Idaho Tyhee Stake, called as president of the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple, succeeding President John H. Groberg. President Stoddard's wife, Annette Oswald Stoddard, will serve as temple matron. President Stoddard, currently serving as a high councilor and temple ordinance worker, previously served as president of the Canada Montreal Mission, stake president, high councilor, bishop and bishop's counselor. Retired insurance agency manager, he was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Grant Leslie and Virginia M. Sessions Stoddard.

Sister Stoddard, currently serving as a temple ordinance worker and a university Relief Society stake board member and ward Relief Society advisor, previously served with her husband as he presided over the Canada Montreal Mission, and as stake Primary president, ward Young Women president, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency and as a counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency. She was born in Rexburg, Idaho, to Willard James and Ina Jensen Oswald.

Marion Darryl Woods, 60, Winder 10th Ward, Salt Lake Winder Stake, called as president of the San Antonio Texas Temple, succeeding President A. Ray Otte. President Woods' wife, Anne Rees Woods, will serve as temple matron. President Woods, currently serving as a gospel doctrine teacher, previously served as president of the Texas San Antonio Mission, stake and ward Young Men president, high councilor and bishop. Retired president, CEO, and owner of a candy company and a mortgage company, he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Lewis Wesley and Helen Hunt Woods.

Sister Woods, currently serving as a Relief Society teacher, served with her husband as he presided over the Texas San Antonio Mission, and as a ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Stanley Davis and Helen Deon Gaddie Rees.
