"Concerts in the Park" on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout July and August, in the Brigham Young Historic Park, located on the southeast corner of State Street and Second Avenue. All ages are welcome to attend any of the park concerts.
July 22 — Ailine's Touch of Polynesia. A program filled with music, dance and colorful costumes from the Polynesian islands. Brigham Young Historic Park, 8 p.m., free admission.
July 25-26 — The annual Pioneer Day Concert with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square will be presented in the Conference Center. The concert will feature the Osmonds, who are celebrating their 50-year anniversary. All tickets for both performances have been issued; for information about stand-by tickets call 801-570-0080.
Ongoing — Mormon Tabernacle Choir, broadcasts of Music and the Spoken Word: Sundays, 9:30 to 10 a.m., in the Conference Center (please be seated by 9:15). Choir rehearsals: Thursdays, 8 p.m. in the Conference Center.
Ongoing — Organ recitals weekdays and Saturdays at noon in the Tabernacle and 2 p.m. in the Tabernacle.
Ongoing — Garden Tours at Temple Square, Church Office Building Plaza: Monday through Friday at noon, Wednesday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Conference Center Roof tours: Monday through Friday at 10 a.m., meet at door 15. Group and private tours may be scheduled by calling 801-240-5916.
