Family: Born Dec. 17, 1945, to Reed and Norinne Richards Callister in Glendale, Calif. Married Kathryn Saporiti on Dec. 20, 1968, in the Los Angeles California Temple. Parents of six children: Angela Kaye (Kenneth) Dalebout, Richard Tad (Heather), Nathan Reed (Bethany), Rebecca Jane (Robert) Thompson, Jeremy Tad, and Jared Reed (Yanni).

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting from BYU (1968); juris doctorate from UCLA (1971); master's degree in tax law from New York University Law School (1972).

Career: Attorney, most recently at Callister & Callister.

Community service: President of Verdigo Hills Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Church service: President of Canada Toronto East Mission (2005-2008), Area Seventy, regional representative, stake president and counselor, bishop, temple ordinance worker, mission president's counselor, stake mission president, elders quorum president, seminary teacher and missionary to the Eastern Atlantic States Mission (1965-1967).
