Joseph Ashton Kjar, 88, who served as president of the Philippines Manila Mission from 1983-1986, director of the Hill Cumorah Historical Sites from 1992-1994, as well as on the Young Men general board and was a regional representative, died July 22, 2008, in Bountiful, Utah.
