ACCRA, GHANA
As close as she knows, Mary Abena Nitriwa Danso is 114 years old. She has been a member of the Church for six years and was endowed in August of 2004 in the Accra Ghana Temple, which opened in 2004.
On Nov. 18, Sister Danso visited the temple again.
Sister Danso lives in Nsawam, Ghana — located about one and a half hours from the temple. Elder Dwaine Meeks and Sister Jane Meeks, full-time missionaries in Nsawam, Ghana, drove Sister Danso to the temple, her third and maybe final visit.
As they drove through the temple gates, Sister Danso said, "This is my house where I will go. Thank God that I am here."
Sister Danso was also accompanied to the temple by a counselor in the district presidency, President Joseph Owusu and his wife, Sister Rebecca Owusu.
