Alice Ruth Thornley Evans, 98, who served with her husband, Richard Louis Evans, when he served as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles from 1953-1971, and as writer, producer and announcer of Music and the Spoken Word from 1930-1971, died Dec. 16, 2008, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
