Utah State center Gary Wilkinson poses following practice on campus at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. The returned missionary has received several awards for his stellar play.

The Utah State center was named the top player in the Western Athletic Conference for leading the Aggies to the regular season title. On March 14, he accepted the WAC tournament MVP award after scoring 21 points in his team's tournament final victory over Nevada.

The win helped secure the Aggies spot in the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Gary's remarkable story as a one-time high school drop-out who joined the Church, served a mission and became an honor student and star basketball player was featured in the Dec. 8, 2007, Church News.
