Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin service about July 1, 2009.
Kevin McRae Bulloch, 57, and NaNon Whittaker Bulloch, three children, New York Utica Mission; Cedar 17th Ward, Cedar City Utah West Stake. Brother Bulloch is a ward Young Men president and a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, high councilor, stake Young Men president and missionary in the Montana-Wyoming Mission. Institute instructor, Church Educational System. Born in Cedar City, Utah, to McRae Nielsen and Lillian Hansen Bulloch. Sister Bulloch is a counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency and a former ward Young Women president and counselor, ward Primary president, ward music chairman and member of the stake Primary board. Born in Panguitch, Utah, to Donald Carlyle Whittaker and Vila LaRen Ackerman.
Richard William Gillespie, 60, and Linda Ann Hathaway Gillespie, five children, Chile Vina del Mar Mission; Cascade Park Ward, Vancouver Washington Stake. Brother Gillespie is a seminary teacher and a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, Scoutmaster, stake mission president and missionary in the Andes Peru Mission. Dentist. Born in Reno, Nev., to Robert William and Lillian V. Holloman Gillespie. Sister Gillespie is a ward Primary chorister and a former stake Young Women president and counselor, ward Young Women president, and stake and ward music chairman. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Benson Lewis Hathaway Sr. and Florence LaRue Maw Hathaway.
Dale Edwin Nielsen, 60, and Cynthia Call Nielsen, four children, Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Mission; Livermore 4th Ward, Livermore California Stake. Brother Nielsen is a stake executive secretary and a former high councilor, stake missionary, elders quorum president, ward executive secretary and assistant ward clerk and missionary in the Finland Mission. Retired physicist, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Born in Berkeley, Calif., to Dale Edwin and Erma Cox Nielsen. Sister Nielsen is a temple ordinance worker and a former ward Relief Society president and counselor, seminary teacher, ward Relief Society teacher and welfare missionary in the Taiwan Mission. Born in Laramie, Wyo., to Tracey Gillette and Viola Ruth Clifton Call.
Allistair Bruce Odgers, 53, and Noeline Mareike Ann Van'T Wout Odgers, four children, Philippines Laoag Mission; Rangiora-Kaiapoi Branch, Christchurch New Zealand Stake. Brother Odgers is a branch Primary teacher, stake chaplain, stake temple coordinator, and a former stake president, bishop, counselor in the New Zealand Wellington Mission presidency and missionary in the Australia Brisbane Mission. Counselor, Drug & Alcohol, Waimak Trust. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, to Milton Ashley Gordon and Lorraine Ruth Tait Odgers. Sister Odgers is a branch Relief Society president and stake temple coordinator and a former ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary president, counselor in a stake Young Women presidency, stake public affairs director and ward family history center director. Born in Dunedin, New Zealand, to Pieter Jacob and Joan Frances Cosgrove Van'T Wout.
Sidney C. Paulson, 65, and Judy Margaret Ostvig Paulson, four children, Canada Winnipeg Mission; Holladay 4th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay South Stake. Brother Paulson is a ward mission leader and a former bishop, stake mission preparation director, ward Young Men president and adviser, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the Great Lakes Mission. President/chief executive officer, SelectHealth. Born in Murray, Utah, to Fred Martell and Theresa Cornum Paulson. Sister Paulson is a counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency and a former counselor in a ward Primary presidency, ward Young Women president and adviser, member of the stake Relief Society board and stake assistant director for missionary preparation. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., to Martin Cornelius and Mary Broadbent Ostvig.
Craig Kidd Poulton, 57, and Diane Adamson Poulton, four children, Australia Adelaide Mission; Holladay 24th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay North Stake. Brother Poulton is a high priests group leader and a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, high councilor, ward executive secretary and missionary in the Australia Adelaide Mission. Sister Poulton is a ward Young Women adviser and a former stake Young Women music chairwoman, counselor in ward Primary and Young Women presidencies, ward Relief Society teacher and ward Young Women secretary. Born in Emmett, Idaho, to Dale and Inez Howard Allred Adamson.
Tom Reed Tucker, 52, and Annette Clayton Tucker, four children, Mississippi Jackson Mission; Twin Falls 6th Ward, Twin Falls Idaho West Stake. Brother Tucker is a temple ordinance worker and area family history adviser and a former bishop, counselor in a stake presidency, high councilor, stake mission president and missionary in the Texas Dallas Mission. Owner, A&T Security Systems. Born in Ogden, Utah, to George Frederick Tucker and Phyllis Mozella Shaw. Sister Tucker is a temple ordinance worker, area family history adviser, and family history center trainer and is a former ward Young Women and Primary president, ward Primary teacher and Cub Scout leader. Born in Ogden, Utah, to Earl Stanley Clayton and Joyce Ann Phillips.
