Andrea and Joseles Salazar of West Jordan, Utah, spoke to the missionaries before the Church's 179th Annual General Conference on April 4-5. The elders made the couple, natives of Mexico, a simple promise: If they would write down spiritual questions, they would find the answers during general conference.
After attending every conference session in the Assembly Hall on Temple Square — which were broadcast in Spanish — they said the missionaries were right. They found all the answers they were seeking.
Sister Salazar, a Relief Society president, said she was especially thankful for the instruction she received that can help the women in her ward. "Sometimes I don't know what to do for the sisters," she said.
Opening a notebook and displaying detailed notes from every session, Sister Salazar said, "I came to conference to look for the answers and I found the answers."
