Two new mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service about July 1, 2009.

Lucy and Justo Casablanca

Justo Pausides Casablanca, 58, and Lucy Rius Casablanca, two children, Colombia Bogota South Mission; Longwood Ward, Orlando Florida Stake. Brother Casablanca is an area executive secretary in the South America South Area and a former regional representative, stake president, bishop, ward mission leader, Sunday School teacher and temple ordinance worker. Retired manager, Federal Aviation Administration. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Pausides A. Casablanca and Modesta Garcia. Sister Casablanca is a missionary in the South America South Area and a former ward Young Women president, Relief Society president and counselor, Primary teacher, Sunday School and seminary teacher, and a family history consultant. Born in Bronx, New York, to Manuel Rius-Batista and Luz Esther Lopez de Victoria.

Idyo and Comfort Egbo

Idyo Raymond Egbo, 34, and Comfort Ikip Ese Egbo, two children, Nigeria Calabar Mission; Nungua 2nd Ward, Tema Ghana Stake. Brother Egbo is a former counselor in district and stake presidencies, counselor in the Nigeria Lagos West Mission presidency, high councilor, branch mission leader and missionary in the Nigeria Lagos Mission. Institute director, Church Educational System. Born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, to Udoh Idio Egbo and Veronica Ukamaka Ikechebelu. Sister Egbo is a ward Relief Society secretary and a former ward Primary president, branch Young Women president, ward Sunday School teacher, institute teacher and branch missionary. Born in Nsofang, Etung LGA Cross River, Nigeria, to Emmanuel Ese and Maria Akoramibu.
