"Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing," the latest album by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, has reached the top of Billboard Magazine's "Classical Overall Music" chart for the week of April 15.

The album, featuring a compilation of American folk tunes and African-American spirituals, also reached the No. 1 spot on the magazine's "Classical Crossover" chart.

The trade publication tracks the popularity of recorded music according to sales and other factors. Its rankings are widely recognized in the recording industry.

"The Mormon Tabernacle Choir has proven once again why it's America's choir," said Bob Ahlander, managing director for the music division at Deseret Book, which handles marketing and distribution for all Tabernacle Choir products.
