Family: Born May 18, 1957, in Seoul, Korea, to Dong Hun and Jeong Soon Lee Choi; married Bon Kyung Koo on Sept. 25, 1982, in Seoul, Korea, sealed Sept. 24, 1983, in the Laie Hawaii Temple. Parents of three sons: Sun beam (Ye ji), Sun-Woong and Sun-Yoon; one grandchild.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business information management from BYU-Hawaii, 1988; master's degree in business information systems and education from Utah State University, 1989.
Career: Regional manager for temporal affairs for the Church in Korea, former sales manager at Data General Korea and director of CDC & MBS Venture Capital Company.
Church service: Area Seventy, stake president and counselor, high councilor, mission president's counselor, stake mission president, bishop and counselor, temple ordinance worker, and missionary in the Korea Busan Mission and Korea Seoul Mission.
Military service: South Korean Army, 1977-1980, staff sergeant.
