Family: Born Dec. 8, 1954, in Burley, Idaho, to Norman and Lucille Hatch Nielson; married Marcia Ann Bradford on June 26, 1978, in the Salt Lake Temple. Parents of six children: Brent Bradford (Annie), Emily Ann (Jeff) Plane, Katy (Tyler) McGee, Chris Bradford (Whitney), Eric Bradford, David Bradford; eight grandchildren.
Education: Bachelor's degree in English from Brigham Young University, 1978, juris doctorate in law from the University of Utah, 1981.
Career: Attorney/Partner at Roy, Nielson, Barini-Garcia & Platts since 1985.
Church Service: Member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy, chairman of the Twin Falls Temple committee, stake president and counselor, bishop, high councilor, ward Young Men president and full-time missionary in the Finland Mission from 1974-76.
