FAMILY: Born March 5, 1949, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Duane and Melba Foster. Married Sharol Lynn Anderson on May 14, 1971, in the Idaho Falls Idaho Temple. Four children: Kara (Stephen) Holmes, Melissa (Jeremy) Livingston, Erica (Ben) Dansie, Michelle (David) Chapple; 11 grandchildren.

EDUCATION: Attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, for two years, focusing on pre-veterinary studies.

EMPLOYMENT: Owner of Foster Agribusiness — a producer of Idaho potatoes, beef and fertilizer.

CHURCH SERVICE: President of California Arcadia Mission, 1992-95; former stake president, high councilor, bishop, stake mission president, elders quorum president.
