Mack Wilberg, music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, left, visits with Ohio Cincinnati Mission President Gregory Robbins and his wife, Sister Alicia Robbins, at reception prior to the concert. The Tabernacle Choir performed two years ago at Riverbend Music Center; mission reports show that more than 60 people were baptized, with many of the baptisms attributed to the spirit felt by investigators at the 2007 concert.

About an hour before the concert begins, a crowd starts filling lawn for overflow seating at Riverbend Music Center. It rained heavily the morning of the concert, June 18. Straw was put on the lawn to help provide a dry base for people to put down ground covers. No one seemed deterred from attending because of the rain. The skies cleared and the concert took place on a pleasant late-spring evening.
