Jelaire Kathryn Chandler Simpson, 88, who served with her husband, Elder Robert L. Simpson, when he served in the First Quorum of the Seventy from 1976-89, as he presided over the New Zealand Mission from 1958-1961, and as the Los Angeles California Temple president from 1980-82, died June 20, 2009, in St. George, Utah.

Virginia Jeanette Woolley Quealy, 87, who served with her husband, Jay Ambrose Quealy Jr., when he presided over the Southern Far East Mission from 1962-65, and as the Los Angeles Visitors Center director, died June 21, 2009, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
