Priscilla Western is 96 years old. She had her first child at age 15, built a house out of mud on an Arizona homestead that's still standing today, and has been a widow for 44 years. Three months ago Sister Western moved from Arizona to Blackfoot, Idaho, to live with daughter LaVera Tilton and her husband Vern.

When Sister Western arrived in Blackfoot, five of her direct descendants – all of whom live in Idaho – congregated for a rare six-generation, all-female family photo. The youngest member of the exclusive club, 18-month-old Hurlie White, is Sister Western's great-great-great granddaughter.

"Mom came up to stay with us, and they just all wanted to see her so they travelled here to spend some time with her," Sister Tilton said. "I think getting six generations together is great. I don't think it happens too often – I imagine a few times – but I don't hear of it very often."

Sister Western had four daughters, all of whom are still living and of which Sister Tilton is the second oldest.
