Carl and Edla Hammond were married 70 years ago on July 14, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They are members of the Legacy Branch (Retirement), South Jordan Utah River Ridge Stake. Parents of three children, they have 11 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
