Two new stakes have been created. Kuna Idaho East Stake, which includes the Kuna 1st, Kuna 3rd, Kuna 7th, Kuna 9th, Kuna 10th, Kuna 11th, Kuna 12th and Kuna 13th wards, has been created by Elder Allan F. Packer of the Seventy.Surprise Arizona North Stake, which includes the Kingswood Park, Sierra Montana, Sun City West, Sun Valley, Wickenburg and Willow Canyon wards, has been created by Elder Marlin K. Jensen of the Seventy.

SURPRISE ARIZONA NORTH STAKE: (Aug. 16, 2009) Created from the Surprise Arizona Stake and Peoria Arizona North Stake. President — Alvin Bennett Hancock, 61, self-employed building contractor; wife, Carol Ann Stewart Hancock.
