OCT. 9 — World-renowned American Piano Quartet performing in the Assembly Hall at 7:30 p.m. Robin Hancock, Scott Holden, Paul Pollei and Jeffrey Shumway will play together on two pianos. For more information, please visit lds.org/events.
OCT. 10 — The registration period begins to obtain tickets to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional on Dec. 6. Tickets will be available through the random selection process. Registration for the selection process begins at 12:01 a.m. and will continue for several days. All registrations have an equal chance of receiving tickets. OCT. 10 — The Utah Music Educators All-State Choir will present a performance of choral literature at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle. The choir is made up of the best singers in high schools throughout the state. Tickets are required and can be obtained at lds.org/events or by calling 801-570-0080.
DAILY — "Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration," a film about the life and legacy of Joseph Smith, available Monday through Saturdays at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Legacy Theater and in the North Visitors Center on Sundays. The film runs every 90 minutes starting at 9 a.m., with the last showing beginning at 9 p.m. During general conference on Oct. 3-4, the film will show at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The regular schedule will resume at 4:30 p.m. For more information, call 801-240-1245.
