OCT. 29 — Church History Library Lecture Series - "For the Love of Letters: Collecting Personal Correspondence," by Brad Westwood, Collections Development Manager, Church History Library; 7 p.m., in the new Church History Library, 15 E. North Temple. For more information call 801-240-2272.

OCT. 30 — The Church Relief Society Music Festival, featuring works of distinction submitted through the annual Church Music Submission; Assembly Hall on Temple Square, 7:30 p.m. Music will be sung by a Relief Society choir from the Bountiful Utah North Stake. All pieces have either been composed or arranged by Latter-day Saint women.

SUNDAYS — "Music and the Spoken Word" is held Sunday mornings in the Tabernacle on Temple Square and features the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 9:15 a.m. for the 30-minute broadcast.

DAILY — "Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration," a film about the life and legacy of Joseph Smith, is available Mondays through Saturdays at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Legacy Theater and in the North Visitors Center on Sundays. The film runs every 90 minutes starting at 9 a.m., with the last showing beginning at 9 p.m. For more information, call 801-240-1245.

DAILY — The organ staff and guest organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle from noon to 12:30 p.m. and 2 to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Sunday recitals will be performed from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Enter Tabernacle at door 11.
