A young woman, Cristina Guevara, went to visit the home of a relative. The family was meeting with the missionaries, so she was invited to participate with them during the prayer. The family also invited her to Church meetings and the Torreon Mexico Institute. Cristina was impressed by how everyone knew each other at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended institute, listened to the missionaries' discussions and was baptized.
Being so excited about finding the gospel of Jesus Christ, she invited her cousin, Pamela Axel Aspland, to institute. Pamela began attending institute and enrolled in the program. She was baptized.
Before her baptism, she invited her cousin, Eloisa Carrillo, to institute and she also was baptized in the Mormon Church the same day as Pamela.
Pamela invited her friend Juan Jose Suarez to Church. He enrolled in seminary and was baptized. She also invited his friend Jose Fernando Satarin to institute and he was also baptized.
Noticing the change in Pamela's life, her mother and her sister Samantha also were baptized. Samantha enrolled in seminary and was excited to share with her friends about what she was learning. She invited her friend Adriana Ramirez to seminary. Adriana attended and enrolled in seminary and later she was baptized along with her little sister.
Each of these young men and women attended seminary and institute before they were baptized.
I have seen all of these students in seminary and institute. I have seen, heard and felt their testimony, their excitement and their thirst of knowledge. I have witnessed this chain of testimony and conversion that took place in the sacred environment that the Church provides for the youth. This has been an example to me of the miracles that can happen through a young student fed by the doctrine and inspired by the Spirit. — Aaron Chavez Carpio, Torreon Mexico Institute
