Through JAN. 2 — "Savior of the World," a musical drama based on the birth and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, will continue in the Conference Center Theater. For show times and ticket information, please visit lds.org/events or call 801-570-0080.
NOV. 28-DEC. 27 — Christmas on Temple Square concerts will be performed daily (except for Christmas Day) at various locations around Temple Square. For a list of locations, groups and performance times, please visit lds.org/events or call 801-240-3323.
DEC. 2 — Choirs from institutes of religion in Logan, Ogden, Salt Lake City, Taylorsville, Orem, and Ephraim will combine in a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Tabernacle. Tickets may be obtained at lds.org/events or by calling 801-570-0080.
DEC. 4-5, 19 — This year's Latino Christmas event will be the musical production "Savior of the World" in Spanish, "El Salvador del Mundo." The performances will be on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Bountiful Regional Center in North Salt Lake. There will also be performances on Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Timpview High School in Provo. Free tickets may be obtained from local leaders of LDS Spanish-speaking congregations or Spanish-speaking full–time missionaries.
Dec. 6 — The First Presidency Christmas Devotional will be held in the Conference Center at 6 p.m., with addresses by members of the First Presidency and music provided by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square. This devotional will be available on various broadcast, satellite, and Internet radio and television stations throughout the world. SUNDAYS — "Music and the Spoken Word," featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be broadcast at 9:30 a.m. in the Tabernacle. Please be seated by 9:15 a.m.
DAILY — "Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration," a film about the life and legacy of Joseph Smith, is available Mondays through Saturdays at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Legacy Theater and in the North Visitors Center on Sundays. The film runs every 90 minutes starting at 9 a.m., with the last showing beginning at 9 p.m. For more information, call 801-240-1245.
DAILY — The organ staff and guest organists perform 30-minute recitals in the Tabernacle at noon Monday through Saturday. Sunday recitals will be performed at 2 p.m. Enter the Tabernacle at door 11. On Dec. 5 and 6, the recital will be held in the Assembly Hall.
