Seven mission presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency to begin their service about July 1. Their mission assignments will be announced later.
Gerardo Angulo, 47, and Anita Oneyda Gutierrez Lopez Angulo, five children; Americas Ward, Chihuahua Mexico Stake. Brother Angulo is a counselor in a ward Young Men presidency and a former stake president and counselor, bishop and counselor and missionary in the Mexico South Mission. Regional Coordinator, Church Educational System. Born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, to Bernardo Angulo Verduzco and Maria del Rosario Gutierrez de Angulo.
Sister Angulo is a counselor in the ward Young Women presidency and a former seminary teacher, stake Relief Society president, ward Primary teacher, ward Sunday School teacher and missionary in the Mexico Tuxtla Gutierrez Mission. Born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, to Rigoberto Gutierrez Duarte and Maria del Refugio Ninfa Lopez Cardenas Gutierrez.
Rodolfo Alalay Carlos, 61, and Brenda Roine Langer Carlos, two children; Sioux Falls 1st Ward, Sioux Falls South Dakota Stake. Brother Carlos is a high councilor and a former counselor in stake presidencies, bishop, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission. Area Manager, Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Born in Manila, Philippines, to Gregorio Soriano and Virginia Alalay Carlos.
A ward Young Women president, Sister Carlos is a former stake Primary president, ward Relief Society president, temple ordinance worker and ward choir director. Born in St. Joseph, Mo., to William Perry, Sr. and Eva Jean McDowell Langer.
Reese A. Carter, 55, and Eva Jean Harper Carter, five children; Mantua 2nd Ward, Brigham City Utah Box Elder Stake. Brother Carter served in the Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Mission, and has been counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Japan Tokyo Mission. Retired manager, Farm Bureau Insurance. Born in Tucson, Ariz., to John Ellis and La Ree Andersen Carter.
Sister Carter served with her husband in the Ukraine Dnepropetrovsk Mission and is a former ward Primary president and counselor, counselor in the ward Relief Society presidency, and ward Young Women president and adviser. Born in Brigham City, Utah, to Grover Neil and Diane Davis Harper.
John Cranmer Dalton IV, 66, and Louise Dean Dalton, four children; Yorba Linda Ward, Placentia California Stake. Elder Dalton, an Area Seventy, is a former stake president and counselor, bishop and counselor, high councilor and missionary in the German Bavarian Mission. Founder, chief executive officer, Dalton Enterprises, Inc. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., to John Cranmer Dalton III and Maxine Jensen Dalton.
Sister Dalton is a ward Relief Society teacher, temple ordinance worker and pianist, and is a former stake and ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society president and stake public affairs director. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph Murdock and Pearl Callis Dean.
Garth Vaughn Hall, 63, and Sharon Laub Hall, six children; Mill Hollow 2nd Ward, Rexburg Idaho North Stake. Brother Hall is a ward mission leader and temple ordinance worker and a former bishop and counselor and high councilor. Vice president, Brigham Young University-Idaho. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Vaughn Leroy and Vea Lois Monson Hall.
Sister Hall serves as a ward Sunday School teacher and temple ordinance worker and is a former stake Primary president and counselor, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, counselor in a ward Young Women presidency and ward Young Women adviser. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Blaine Arthur and Betty Mae Nebeker Laub.
James David MacArthur, 64, and Sharol Linden McUne MacArthur, 10 children; Sharon 8th Ward, Orem Utah Sharon Stake. Brother MacArthur is a ward mission leader and former stake president and counselor, bishop, high councilor, high priest group leader and missionary in the Spanish American Mission. Retired clinical professor, Brigham Young University. Born in Coronado, Calif., to Kenneth Waldo and Lorraine Stella Cooper MacArthur.
A Primary teacher, Sister MacArthur is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in a stake Relief Society presidency, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the Chilean Mission. Born in Richmond, Calif., to Haswell Ross and Linden Ida Knight McUne.
Stanford Willis Nielson, 56, and Judi Ann Parker Nielson, four children, Palmyra Ward, Las Vegas Nevada Lakes Stake. Brother Nielson is a former counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, high councilor, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Netherlands Amsterdam Mission. Partner/owner, Sunburst Shutters. Born in Mesa, Ariz., to Willis Frihoff and Nena Tremelling Nielson.
Sister Nielson serves as a counselor in the stake Young Women presidency and is a former temple ordinance worker, seminary teacher, ward Young Women adviser and ward Primary teacher. Born in Seattle, Wash., to Robert Hal and Colleen Anderson Parker.
