Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been announced by the First Presidency. They will begin their service about July 1.

Tracy and Leland E. Bruce

Leland Egan Bruce Jr, 49, and Tracy Lynn Taylor Bruce, four children, Chile Antofagasta Mission; San Clemente 5th Ward (YSA), San Clemente California Stake. Brother Bruce is bishop of the San Clemente 5th Ward and is a former high councilor, counselor in a stake Young Men presidency, bishop, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Puerto Rico San Juan Mission. Managing director, Jones Lang La Salle. Born in Los Angeles, Calif., to Leland Egan Bruce Sr. and Glenda Glee Geer.

Sister Bruce is a former counselor in ward Relief Society and stake Young Women presidencies, ward Primary president and ward Young Women president. Born in Long Beach, Calif., to Stephen Allen Taylor and Linda Lee Starr.

James R. and Vicki F. Matsumori

James R. Matsumori, 58, and Vicki Fujii Matsumori, three children, Washington DC North Mission; South Cottonwood Ward, Murray Utah South Stake. Brother Matsumori is a former stake president, regional welfare specialist, high councilor, elders quorum president, counselor in a stake mission presidency and missionary in the Japan Mission. Executive vice president, George K. Baum Investment Bankers. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to M. Jim and Mary Matsumori.

Sister Matsumori serves in the Primary General Presidency, served on the Primary General Board and is a former ward Relief Society, Young Women and Primary president and teacher in the auxiliary organizations. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George Y. and Yoshie M. Fujii.

Wayne K. and Loralee P. Miller

Wayne Keith Miller, 63, and Loralee Priday Miller, six children, New Mexico Albuquerque; Overland Park 1st Ward, Lenexa Kansas Stake. Brother Miller serves as a mission executive secretary and is a former counselor in the Missouri Independence Mission, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and counselor, high councilor and missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission. Senior project manager, Hallmark Cards. Born in American Fork, Utah, to Keith D and Afton Bigelow Miller.

Sister Miller serves as a ward compassionate service leader and is a former stake Relief Society president and counselor, ward Relief Society president, stake seminary supervisor and seminary teacher. Born in Provo, Utah, to Leland Forbes and Thelma Farnsworth Priday.

Neith S. C. and Hector K. Quintanilla

Hector Kenny Quintanilla, 43, and Neith Santa Cruz Leon Quintanilla, four children, Bolivia La Paz Mission; Arocagua Ward, Cochabamba Bolivia Universidad Stake. Brother Quintanilla is a counselor in the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission presidency and is a former stake president and counselor, high councilor, branch president and missionary in the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission. Seminary coordinator, Seminaries and Institutes of Religion. Born in Potosí, Bolivia, to José Quintanilla and Feliciana Morodías.

Sister Quintanilla is a counselor in the ward Young Women presidency and is a former stake Relief Society president and counselor, ward Relief Society teacher, ward Young Women adviser and missionary in the Bolivia Cochabamba Mission. Born in Potosí, Bolivia, to Juan Ruben Santa Cruz Torrez and Palmira Leon Martinez.

Soni M. and Isaias D. Ribeiro

Isaias De Oliveira Ribeiro, 46, and Soni Maria Barbosa Ribeiro, four children, Brazil Santa Maria Mission; Londrina 1st Ward, Londrina Brazil Stake. Brother Ribeiro is a stake president and is a former counselor in the Brazil Londrina Mission presidency, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop and missionary in the Brazil Porto Alegre Mission. Institute director, Seminaries and Institutes of Religion. Born in Maringá, PR, Brazil, to Pedro Celestino and Leardina Almeida Oliveira Ribeiro.

Sister Ribeiro is a former ward Primary, Relief Society and Young Women president and Sunday school teacher. Born in Maringá, PR, Brazil, to Moacir Da Silva and Ana Ribeiro Da Silva Barbosa.

Eduardo L. and Fatima S. Tavares

Eduardo Lucio Mendes Tavares, 41, and Fatima Scarante Tavares, two children, Brazil Londrina Mission; Mangabeira Ward, Feira de Santana Brazil Kalilandia Stake. Brother Tavares is a bishop and a former stake president, counselor in a bishopric, stake Young Men president and missionary in the Brazil Sao Paulo North Mission. Sister Tavares is the ward Young Women president and a former stake Young Women president, seminary teacher, ward Relief Society president and stake family history center director. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, to Bento Antonio Victor Scarante and Tereza Helena Tavares.

Terry D. and Janet F. Turk

Terry Dean Turk, 48, and Janet Farnsworth Turk, two children, Peru Trujillo Mission; Mesa 60th Ward, Mesa Arizona East Stake. Brother Turk is a former stake president, bishop and counselor, stake executive secretary and missionary in the Argentina Buenos Aires North Mission. President, Sun American Mortgage. Born in Mesa, Ariz., to William Dean and Vida Mae Thompson Turk.

Sister Turk is a former counselor in a stake Primary presidency, ward Primary president, counselor in ward Relief Society and Young Women presidencies and ward Primary music leader. Born in Mesa, Ariz., to Ross Nash and Anita Cox Farnsworth.
